The Master
Master artisan Su Wei carries forward the living tradition of Longquan celadon — one-of-one works shaped by hand and fired in heritage kilns.
Su Wei's practice is rooted in Longquan — the historic center of celadon production — where clay, glaze, and fire are understood as a single continuous discipline.
Each work is formed by hand, glazed with restraint, and fired at temperatures exceeding 1300°C in wood-fired kilns. The result is a quiet surface, a balanced silhouette, and a presence suited to both private collections and contemporary interiors.
For Su Wei, celadon is not ornament but atmosphere — a living tradition carried forward through patience, mastery, and one-of-one making.
